Have been after one of these for a while. Had considered the propane ones, but with me welding in the garage... Going to run this one on kerosene, once I find somewhere to buy it!

Badly written Ebay listing with poor photo, meant I snagged it for an offer of £100 vs his ask of £160 - Got there, and it was literally as new. Apparently he bought it rather than hire one for 6 weeks to dry plaster in his house - Good luck=with that when it starts falling off the walls!

That looks good - bought a propane one myself for this winter's fettling. Prefer yours though :thumbsup:

Oh yes. My new impact gun should be landing tomorrow. Not that the 3/8" one struggled doing the clutch yesterday on my mum's i30, but it does take a few seconds with tight nuts....

The 1/2" will rip my nuts right off.. Think I'll name it after the wife :D

Jeez £1.73 a litre! Cheaper to fill it with road diesel at shell!

My neighbour gets a weekly delivery of 4,000L of diesel from crown oils, I'll ask him to see if they do a drum of kerosene as it's about 28p/L failing that, he can get me red diesel. Heater uses 1.25L/hr if it's running continuously, although it has a digital thermostat that probes the air being sucked into the rear. But with diesel it'll be around 4x the running cost.
