Ballast recommendation

Hi guys

Have had the condensation issue in my xenon headlights, the headlight isn't coming on am planning to take it out and replace the ballast most likely, going to check with the other side to see that it's the issue first. Looking online there's massive variance in the ballast costs etc, was looking at a website hids direct but reviews on trustpikot putting me off, also read about someone recieving a fake from eBay. Wanted to ask if anyone has bought one online and it's been fine if so can recommend the seller, from BMW it's very expensive

Thankyou faz

I had a head light out on my recently sold 3.0si which had also had a HID conversion and thought it was just a bulb. However, is wasn't the bulb so I sought some advice from a friend who said it was probably the ballast. I took the old ballast out and replaced it with a similar one from EBay for £5.99. Worked a treat

Hi Lynchy thanks for your reply. I think my one is the OEM xenon so needs the Hella ballast rather than that as far as I'm aware, but prices are ranging from 40-120 and then up to 400 from BMW soper so just wanted to see if anyone had got one of eBay with a good experience. Thanks again

I bought mine from ebay (seller was lp-lights) for £48.50 each.

Fitted a pair in September 2018 to replace a flooded pair, and they seem to be working fine.

got mine from

Originally i got one off ebay which seem suspicious, when i opened it it definetly wasnt HELLA components inside, when i question the seller got full refund
