Each to his/her own, and I know people like modifiying and improving.

But to my mind, there's little you can do to improve such an aesthetically beautiful design....

a nooby question but what is 56 plates and 08 plates?

Seems the UK has a auto/registration plate numbering system thought up by this guy: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rube_Goldberg_machine

The si's were built from 2006-2008. So it's one of those three years.

It's the two numbers in the registration of the car, denoting the year of first registration. Each year is spilt in to two, cars being registered on the 1st March and the 1st September.

For instance, a "56 plate" shows the first registration to be on or after 1st September 2006 (the next one would be 07 commencing on 1st March 2007)

This system started on 1st September 2001 (ie with a 51)

So in brit speak I'm a 5572530 person. As I'm celebrating the 25th anniversary of my 30th birthday. Or I could just say I made my grand appearance in Dec 1957. :poke:
