Back box

Hi all

I put down a deposit on a 2003 3.0 roadster at the weekend. The Suzuki garage I am buying off are currently sorting through a list of to do jobs that I highlighted to them. One thing I noticed was the exhuast was loud, and on further inspection I saw that the back box has been deleted. Does anyone have any suggestion about how this could be fixed? The garage have not got back to me about the exhuast yet (I assume they won't have been aware that the exhuast is meant to be one section).

I looked on eBay for 2nd hand systems, but all are miles away and too big to post. Are the only real options either to purchase a new system or find a seller who will cut the rear box off the system and get a courier to deliver, then it could be welded/joined into the system?

Also are the 2.2 and 2.5 exhaust systems different to the 3.0, they look similar?

This seems to be a common mod, so I'm sure someone has a stock muffler available. Welding would be ideal, but slip fit connectors with exhaust clamps will work too.

Not too costly either. Flanges from eBay and local garage for the cutting and welding..
 
can have my old box for £50 could do with the room I had back box delete on mine when I bought it but seller gave me the old box too its been sat in the shed want rid of it im used to the bwaaaarr now
 
GoldbfcfI take it the back box is off your car and is it replaced with straight through pipes if so is it very loud or just a nice sound as I'm wanting to do this to mine

Trying to get a back box ideally from someone who has done this mod and does not need theirs anymore
