back box mods

Hi all, I have managed to track down a rear silencer which I intend to keep stock looking but alter the internals to hopefully make the sound somewhat sportier/louder. Does anyone know what the chap on here does with his back boxes? Is it a case of removing the silencing material? Or modifying the pipes inside? I haven't seen inside one so don't know what is inside!!
Many thanks Steve

It’s a case of joining the twin pipes up within the silencer, I done it to mine and sounds good…

If the pipes you’ve welded in have no perforations (which they don’t seem to have) how is that different to just cutting the silencer off? :?

Thanks all I can see what needs to be done now.
Shouldn't be a problem and looks stock from the outside.
