At the weekend I fitted Back Box Delete straight through pipes. The sound is fabulous (especially tunnels!) but the drone is really bad at 2k-3k revs which may long term make me decide to revert back to standard.
I have searched today and found on other forums that the drone can be reduced by wrapping exhaust wrap around the lengths extending beyond where the back box was (double wrap) and by also lining the boot with sound deadening material.
Has anyone on here done either of these and what success did you have? Also is there anything else that can be done?
I don't want to revert back to standard but really can't stand the drone, which is ok with roof down but pretty unbearable with it up.
