Aux not playing

Hello,

Just recently got myself a really nice 3.0i se, has the business radio and shows AUX on the screen when you toggle through the modes.

Great I thought, easy job to get an aux port installed......or so I thought :roll:

Bought a cable from off Ebay from fruity car cables, having researched on here about how good they are.

I've put it the cable in the only place it can go (please see pictures) but all I'm getting is low noise static....no music.

I've tried turning the block so have tried both ways but still no luck.

Any ideas, has anyone had the same issue?

Unfortunately not buddy, I’ve hunted for one thinking it’s already been installed but no luck

Ok, after much more searching it already has one…..right on the roof of the glovebox, the only way to see it is if you get your head in the footwell

can feel it, thought it was screws at first, such a funny place but all good in the end.
