Aux input on Dension Ice Link

I have the dension ice link. I noticed it has an aux input on the loom.... I was wondering, if you are listening to radio or MP3 and that port gets a signal, does it interrupt things (thinking of sat nav here) or would you have to unplug the ipod to access the aux function?

Uh .. my icelink did not have that. You sure it is an Icelink plus?

If the icelink is installed on the cd changer port - then it could only carry 1 signal at a time. So if you plug something in on the aux port, whatever is at the end can not play at the same time

not sure what the hell it is LOL! It's been in ages... it's kind of by the by at the mo really, as my sat nav doesn't have audio out anyway!

Cheers.

My Ice link plus has the extra aux you mention Sp3ctre. When I wired mine to the storage area I put the extra aux plug through the ash tray so I can plug into easily.
I notice when you unplug the IPOD you get a choice on your headunit of AUX 1 or AUX 2 when you press the mode button.

Will have a play with it this weekend if I manage to get my bike sorted first (bloody thing wont start  ).

I've got this question posted to a later thread, but it seems appropriate to also ask it here:
iPod hooked into icelink. Icelink hooked into radio's back panel. If I add an audio aux, can I hook my Garmin nuvi 350 gps into the aux and be able to hear both the ipod and the 350's vocal instructions?
