Aux Cable info

Hi,

I have an Ipod connection in the glove box & a CD changer. Is it still posible to add an Aux cable. Or would I have to remove the ipod cable?

May be easier just to invest in an ipod? I currently have a ScanDisk Salsa Clip MP3 playier. Or another alternative my be if theres an ipod to 3.5mm converter.

Its a 2006 model with the 10 Speaker stereo including bluetooth. If it will work where is the best place to buy one from? I'm away I could make one but would rather just buy.

Thanks

Neil

Aux in won't replace the other two, although im surprised your ipod didn't replace your cd changer.

Lots of info on this site about all of this, start with my faq which has the aux-in thread in the audio section

buy an ipod if you want an ipod, fit an aux in if you want to use anything else. i have both & my phone gets used on aux more now than the ipod.

Thanks Andy. You are correct about the CD changer. I was wondering why it wasn't working. I think I'll remove the ipod connection, plug it the CD changer back in and add an AUX cable so I can use my current MP3 playier.

I assume I'll find the disconnected CD changer plug behind the headunit.
