AUTODOC & Rocker cover gasket

I’m thinking about getting a new Elring gasket as I have a slow leak. It’s the metal gasket I need and not the rubber one.
Never used autodoc before and am thinking of getting it from them.
Any thoughts on them?

Is there a risk that the gasket could bend and crease during delivery?
Are there other vendors I should look at?

Thanks

I've used them twice and everything has turned up in perfect condition.

I can't think of a reason not to use autodoc, unless you need the part tomorrow.

Used them half a dozen times. Quickest turn around was about 4/5 days, slowest was several weeks while they kicked their heels trying to work out if they had three of something in stock (they had one in.)

Excellent range of obscure bits with sharp prices on their 41/43% days but, for readily available bits, eBay can often match them.

As already said, you'll get the parts and in perfect condition but you'll be waiting an undetermined amount of time.

In times I've needed stuff quickly I've usually been able to get it from Halfords at more or less the same price and collect the same day.

Only buy when the discount is on (40%) as otherwise rather expensive without it.

Does take a while, but the parts I ordered were well packaged.

It seems to me that when the big discounts are on they just increase the stated original price, so what you pay is actually fairly consistent. But I only look at a few specific parts.

For example, a set of B12's for a 35is are currently 38% off €1,026, making them €635. But I've regularly seen them for €6xx on the no-discount days. Either way it makes them hundreds cheaper for these than anywhere else I have found.

I'd suggest having a list of different suppliers and price checking each time, along with a good old fashioned Google and eBay search.
