I know the battery had gone dead on car.

The passenger side goes up with remote, and auto works off the pressing up.

But the drivers side u have to hold on button in car it wont work with remote, is this programmable or is it somet that needs changing

Needs resetting, i believe.

Ignition on. Press and hold all the way down, then press and hold all the way up.

Should work after that.
 
Ive tried about few different versions,

igintion on pos1 door closed
hold down on 2nd position till gets to bottom and hold for 5 secs
then wait , hold up second position till gets to top and wait 5 secs
open door

Thing is at min
up position one does nothing
up position two goes up but stops when let go
down position one goes bit by bit
down position two goes all way down

any advise

the cars been stood fow few months only doing short trips, on first start it turned over battery went too low and then it just clicked, lost time settings etc, been for a long drive today and it seems fine. Started few times since

so should i try the reset in a day or so?

or do i need one of them programmer things too? just thought it was odd passenger side worked but not drivers

take her for another nice long ... long drive - you know you want to :driving: - then try the reset.

If still no joy then IMHO the battery is fcuked - get it checked [but not at kwikfit :poke: ]
 
could you let me know the correct reset please, theres few variations.

If cars starting perfect now though ud think its ok?

Is it normal that when u pull up to position one on windows it does nothing though?, but then again it wont do it via remote either
 
I reset my windows yesterday! All I do is ingintion on 1 click
Hold the button down so the window goes down to the bottom while still holding the button I count to 10, works for me ever time.
Sometime have to hold it a little bit longer to get it to go up
Ps 5 Seconds is way to short on my 06

do u use the 2nd position when going down / up? and did yours go up on first position?

in position 1 up mine doesnt do any thing, but i presume its not the switch as the remote wont move it up either.

just tried yer method and

Erasure of initialization:
• Open door window glass fully
• Operate power window switch in "Open" position four times within 10 seconds

This erases initialization of the power window, anti-trapping protection and toll function are inactive.
Check whether one-touch control (toll) function is inactive, otherwise repeat procedure.

Reinitialization:
Avoid a break between the two steps!
• Open door window glass fully
• Operate and hold power window switch in "Close" position (second switch stage)
• Once the upper end position has been reached, hold power window switch in "Close" position for approx. 2 seconds longer
• Open door window glass fully
• Operate and hold power window switch in "Close" position (second switch stage)
• Once the upper end position has been reached, hold power window switch in "Close" position for approx. 2 seconds longer

but still no joys, any more ideas
 
ok done some reading my softwares sw 4-1/91 which i believe is v29/30 and it needs to be on v32

is this easy done, presume its a case of burning a disc low speed, sat nav system checks disc and updates it?
