audio in?

Ive been trying to work out where the oem audio in is as ive read that post 2007 z4's come as standard with audio in. ive looked all over to find a pic or a description as to where to find it but cant find anything to help on the net. my z4 is a sep 07 or at least first registered 07, now thinking its maybe an 06 but only registered 07. anyone got any pics or can direct me to where i can find something.

on the underside of the dashboard - beneath the air-con controls

access panel there, socket AFAIK is there

Gannet is right, you'll know if you've got it. Mine is registered August 07 and I don't have it either - as you've suggested, there is quite a variance from build date to registration date.
