I've had my Z4M Coupe just over a week now- the car itself is great but I as is customary for my new cars I did a full detail today and the state of the wheels has annoyed me a touch and I just wonder if I am just being too finicky.
When I looked at the wheels in the showroom there were a few blisters so a refurb on all four was agreed. Upon cleaning it today I can see that it seems that:
1. The wheels weren't removed from the car for at least one of the stages of the process as there is silver overspray between the disc itself and the wheels.
2. There's some dust or similar beneath the wheel paint on one of the wheels.
3. The rear dish of the wheels is somewhat exposed on the M and there is dirt that I'm never going to be able to remove because it seems to have been lacquered over- and it's quite a lot, like they taped up the inside of the wheel and then left the glue residue and then lacquered over the top.
Other niggles are that the satnav is showing 4-1/71 and it was agreed it would be updated to the latest firmware, a small ding in the front wing (it really is very small) was not repaired as promised and I didn't get my 'oil bag' which I had to pay for on top of the purchase price.
Awesome car though- just these small issues have taken the shine off what apparently is a premium service and prep. Am I being unreasonable to ask for them to be done again?
