Anyone notice anything odd about the passengers side of the car... specifically the rear arch?

Here's one in the same colour that is correct:

So have they taken pics before a repair, or do you think they've not even noticed and figure its the way the curves flow

Different vehicle - wheels etc. Looks like a cock up with description (different mileage) and photographs and agree with Shambolic - 'shadow?'

Oh dear... no, the second vehicle is a different vehicle altogether, I put it on there to show what a rear arch should look like.. as on the first car (different car) there's a great whack on the rear arch on the passenger side.. seemingly unnoticed by the dealership!

Sorry - not sure I can see it :?

Do you work for their dealership lol ;)

Check it out below. Its not a shadow, its there on all photos of that side. How could the dealer miss that? Its a whopper!

Here's what a normal arch looks like:

Give up :P - yes can see it on all the other photos

Just goes to show then that whoever you buy from a THOROUGH CHECK is a must - unfortunately not everyone does. :(

Looks like a dentmaster has had a go at it, but was feeling creative and re-designed it. Should have done the same to the other side though.

From the BMW UK Site

"A BMW Approved Used Car is much more than a used car. With over 120 rigorous checks and a minimum 12-month unlimited mileage warranty, you can head for the open road and enjoy the drive"

Translated

Step 1 - Does it have a BMW badge, probably a BMW then

Steps 2 - 119 : Put the kettle on, discuss how we can fleece some more unsuspecting AUC customers

Step 120 - Does it start, sometimes ...

Approved.

Thats quite sad and would make me very wary of that dealer , you would hope that that whoever put that picture up gets a gentle poke in the eye!
