Actually, I think there may be less Morris Itals, making them even rarer. Doesn't make them worth much though.

Rather have the 507. That is a sight for sore eyes. Beautiful.
 
What a beautiful car, and owned by a world champion on both two and four wheels. I can't say I ever saw him race (a fair bit before my time) but in documentaries and interviews, he always came across as a nice genuine chap.

I was wondering how long it would be before his collection came up for sale - not too long seems to be the answer!

I went to all the early Goodwood FOS meetings (2nd one onwards) and was lucky enough to see the legend John Surtees in the paddock at one of them and shake his hand - a very special moment.

If I win the lottery in time ( :lol: ) I'd buy that car, but I'd like to think BMW, Beaulieu or somewhere similar might buy it to preserve it for posterity.

Stunning car anyway! :thumbsup:
