I wonder whether the assaliant, after stabbing that marine, had one of those brief moments of clarity when he say the other three and then suddenly thought, hmmm, I'm gunna regret doing that....

But has to be said, you would not get away with that in the UK. Here the shopkeeper would have been arrested and jailed for confronting him, the shop assistant would have been fined for getting in his way and the marines would have been jailed, and some money grabbing ambulance chaser would have been lobbying pariliment to bring back the death penalty for them and the Thief would have been given an obsene compensation package.

Politicians.. taking the Great out of Great Britain. :thumbsup:
