I measured the Conti 7’s before they were fitted, 6.8mm with the labels still on them :cry: :tumbleweed:

Still the best tyre I’ve had fitted :thumbsup:
 
I had a set of these fitted to my Up GTI instead of the factory fit Goodyear ditch finders. Excellent tyres in every aspect.
 
The Hankook Ventus S1 evo3 usually starts around 7.8mm, though there can be variation depending on tyre size.

Yeah think we done this to death now. But, everyone is free to go the tyre centre and buy them brand new and get back another half a mm.
Or Michelin at twice the price.
 
Seems like a pretty good deal to me and if I was on 18s I would snap these up as a spare set. GLWTS

I wouldn’t normally comment on a for sale thread unless I was interested in the item, or views were sought, but felt you were getting unwarranted responses re wear and “used level” if such a term exists.

IMO 7mm on a tyre like this is “as good as new/very limited use” therefore, again IMO, making them a good buy, especially if local to you and a deal can alway be struck between seller/buyer GLWTS :thumbsup:
