Are Z4 coupes really this rare??

Just because I've nothing better to do with my time. :D

I Had a look at this site and was asstonished at what I found!

Surely this can't be right?

Z4 Manual Coupes in UK: 264

LINKY

Ferrari 360 in UK: 1,035

LINKY

If so that means that my Coupe is 4 times rarer than a ferrari 360!!

To be fair you don't see many about....to the extent where people enquire as to what make/model the car actually is!
 
to put it into perspective only 17 for sale in the whole country on pistonheads i cant find a blue one with black leather manual been lookin for weeks
 
I think if you look on here there are more people who have traded UP from a roadster to a coupe than there are traded DOWN from a coupe to a roadster... :D Think people are starting to like the exclusivity. And the gorgeous lines of the coupe must have something to do with it aswell :wink:
 
figures are crap, how come the Z4 M went up Q2 2011?

I think it's pretty logical, there are always likely to be more in Q2 because of the time of year. If you look at the charts there is always more being taxed in Q2 than Q1.

They are either taxed or sorn so to me the numbers dont add up.

Or am i missing something :?

Mmm, seems a bit harsh to write off the DVLA's data with "figures are crap". I emailed the chap who developed the howmanyleft website and this was his response:

"There's usually two reasons for numbers increasing after production has stopped. Either people are finding cars that have 'fallen off' the DVLA's computer system (ie. barn find classics which haven't been taxed for decades), or people are bringing cars into the UK from abroad. I expect for the Z4M it's mostly the latter that applies!"

Seems very low - there's a manual and an auto on our street, but no 360's :rofl: - also those stats show none registered in 2006 which can't be correct.

p.s. Taz's numbers might include Auto's and M's, whereas your's were just manual 3.0si 's if I read it correctly (His eyesight isn't what it was :poke: )
