Are these upgrades worth it?

Hello everyone

I was looking to get a few upgrades to my Z4 2.0 SE 56 plate; its my first Z4 so I thought I would go for the entry level but was looking to get a few upgrades.

So I wanted to get some opinions.

1. A strut brace for the engine from www.mstyle.co.uk

2. New anti roll bars by H and R

My question is would you notice the difference versus cost of the parts?

you will be able to go faster, because your wallet wont weigh anywhere near as much..... :rofl:
 
Only suspension change I have on the Zed is Eibach springs and I run on 19" alloys with non runflats. Don't feel I need anymore from the suspension although I am not hard on the car. :)
 
Going to non-runflats the strut brace helped get some feel back to turn in. So, I'd put that top. I was looking at fitting an ARB and was advised to go with front poly bushes instead. Did that and very happy indeed, the steering felt a lot better.

I'd go with the strut brace and poly bushes. Then maybe add a Hunter alignment.

Also, M-Style can be on the expensive side so be sure to shop around.

Other thing worth going for, driver training, something like Car Limits with Andy Walsh, which a few of us have done now and all big advocates. Should possibly be number one on the list :thumbsup: Use you ARB savings :wink:

All of the above are on my 2.5, feedback from other 2.0 drivers would be more useful as the 4 pot is meant to feel more nimble anyway.
 
Those prices looked steep for the suspension bushes, I'm buying some to replace my knackered ones, they're cheaper from Powerflex direct and even cheaper again on Amazon!
