to clean out in order to stop the roof motors from seizing up, as per E85 ?

At a guess no - Like the E85 with the hardtop on the slits are covered by the hardtop, meaning the water runs down the body work - but i maybe wrong!

I don't think E89 has the drain holes. All motors and moving parts are in the boot.

Nor me! I'd rather the motors were in the boot than having to replace them every now and then to be honest! :wink:

You can get more in ours than the old roadster with the roof up and probably about the same with it down. The old roadster had that huge hump in the boot where the battery is!!
