How much is it going to cost? Just bought SWMBO a 16GB (wifi and 3G) iPad 3 for her birthday so would be interested to see the pricing strategy.

Will def be getting one of these exactly what ive been waiting for! :D

New iMac

New iMac is extremely thin, lacking optical drive. 5mm thick at the edges, 80% thinner than before. Thickens slightly towards the middle. Using a new technology called friction stir welding to make the case. The display is 45% thinner than the prior generation.

Still 27" and 21.5", not retina. 2560x1440 and 1920x1080 IPS displays. Fully laminated glass for 75% less reflection. FaceTime HD camera and stereo speakers.

Ivy Bridge Intel Core i5 and i7, four USB 3 ports, two Thunderbolt ports, up to 3TB storage, SD card slot on the rear.

New "Fusion Drive". Combined 128GB SDD and 1TB or 3TB HDD drive, "fused together with software." Core applications and the OS automatically go on the SSD while documents stay on the HDD. Mountain Lion determines apps you use most and automatically puts them on the SSD. Performance approaches that of SSD. Uses 50% less power when idle.

Thanks for the review Tom, looks great. I know we will soon get the Apple haters adding their nonsense, but lets start off positive. Big thumbs up from me

Damn, the new ipad has been completely replaced! New processor and lightnight dock.

Yet you can still buy and ipad 2, so whats happened to the surplus ipad 3's ( if the new one could be called a ipad 3s  )

BTW was just copied and pasted off macrumors

If you want to have a closer look

www.macrumors.com

They are just minor updates but looks good to me especially the 13" be perfect photographers tool.

My friend has the nexus, and its a great size.... Especially for a womans handbag.

They also sneakily replaced the new ipad, with a new new ipad

Getting a macbook for work. Couldnt decide between an air or a pro but this might swing it the pro way. They're also releasing a new ipad 4 too arent they?

omg I'm in love!!!!

okay, so I'm a sucker fanboy and they get me every time!

However, what has caught my eye is that the new imacs are all individually colour calibrated - this must mean then that the panels are colour accurate and as someone who once spent £900 on a colour accurate monitor that could be auto calibrated with a spectra...thingy I like the sound of this.

Can no way afford one...got a 27" imac from a few years back and its going well...as is our macbook pro which is even older.

However, the wifey asked the other day about getting another ipad (cot an original and ipad2) so she who holds the credit cards might be persuaded to buy...and we;re going to Exeter (nearest Apple store) on Fri 2nd, when they are released...probably none in stock, but it could be fate!!!!

Well,I'll sell my iPad 3 64GB 3G for £499 to whoever wants it...it's only 2 months old, as I had it replaced after I dropped my first one, cost £659 new

Haha i completely agree, I know its sad but these things excite me too. Like a kid at Christmas but it also is great to use them as a career tool
