O2 used to unlock even in Contract term ,if they still do very worth doing and IIRC was free for contract holders will make iPhone much more saleable

Will get some pictures up at some point guys. I spoke to O2 but they aren't unlocking iphone 6 & 6 plus yet. They do all the other models before the 6. There's rumours of a 6s coming out in september so they might start unlocking after then i guess.
