Anyone with an Eventuri Intake willing to demonstrate it to me?

Hi All

I have recently purchased a Z4M coupe and am eyeing up the Eventuri intake system to add a little noise and fun factor to the car.

Does anyone have one installed and would be willing to demonstrate it to me? I am based in the Cotswolds and will happily travel up to 1.5 hours to hear the intake bark in person.

Of course I will cover your fuel costs and buy you a drink to say thank you!

All the best
James

Hi James,

I have it fitted on my car but the car is tucked away and sorned until April. If your happy to wait, a nice road trip to the Cotswolds can be arranged.

Like wise I have one fitted and the car is sorned untill the better weather comes along, honestly you will not be disapointed by the noise. For what it's worth I also had an aftermarket exhaust fitted that I removed as I much prefer the induction noise of the intake.

Thanks for the replies, I highly doubt I will be able to wait that long, I may have to just take your word for it and buy one.

If either of you are considering selling the intake kit, let me know!!

Hi James,

Popped you a pm - I can send over a video of mine taken from outside the car which demonstrates the sound fairly well.

Hi James,

I had this installed and just switched to Karbonius CSL box.

For what they are worth it is pretty decent. Easy to install and look after. Intake sound is very noticeable if you have stock exhaust.

However, I got a custom valved exhaust shortly after installing eventuri after which I couldn’t hear it at all. I was always going to go for Karbonius CSL box at some point to get the car as close to CSL as possible, lack of sound from eventuri after custom exhaust expedited the timeline.

I do have the eventuri box just sitting in the garage. Just not bothered posting it for sale yet.

Eventuri purchased on 02/07/2021 at 39,000 miles.

Thanks for the offer, unfortunately I am now busy for the next couple of weekends but will message you when I know potential dates to travel up. Chances are I will purchase an intake before then as I am very impatient and impulsive!!!

For sure, just go for it. If I were to buy another Z4M, it's the first thing I would do.

I have one on a roadster. Love it. Sounds fabulous. Have does some data logging on intake temps. Tends to heat soak quicker than stock and take longer to recover but once it does temps are about the same as stock. About 2c above ambient. My concern was and still is filtration quality. The filter is custom made by simota whose cleaning kit is recommended. Simota recommend oiling their filters for dusty conditions. Eventuri say oiling is not needed at all. I purchased my intake second hand and the inside of the intake tube was disgusting. Glad it was not my s54 it came off. I replaced the filter and after 2500ks I will pull it off and check the tube. If I see a spec of dust I am oiling thr filter from here on in. I am paranoid and everybody tells me there is no dust problem but they ain't making any more s54s and they cost to rebuild. My car is staying with me until I die or there is no petrol hence the caution. Cheers
