I think it stems from the insurance industry when certain levels of damage decree a car should never be repaired & allowed back onto the road.
Cutting the chassis in half goes a long way to ensuring that will not happen :thumbsup:

Now I know my mind works in mysterious ways but wouldn't it be a laugh to get that, rig it so it looks whole, and park it exactly on the join of Tower Bridge.
Then watch peoples faces when the bridge goes up.

Wow! It's awful trying to type with my nose.................but they won't even release one of my arms from this jacket. :D
