Hi all,as above really, noticed afew small scratches on my alloys today as i was washing etc,i have some scratch x not the 2.0 version and wondered if it would do any good or make matters worse?-thanks

Depends how deep the scratch is. Scratch-X is an aggressive polish, designed to take very fine layers of clear coat off thus removing the scratch. Your alloys will also have the same sort of an idea with a clear lacquer on them to help protect the underlying metal work from all sorts. Scratch-X I would say shouldn't do any harm but the clear lacquer on alloys is a lot tougher than your car body so I'm not sure you'll see much difference without a lot of effort..

Is scratch x that agresssive?-i remember seeing a 'scale' of products lined up and scratch x was iirc the least agressive?

It;s a filler, should be ok

No it's not a filler. It's a polish.
