Anyone used 3M Carbon wrap and can give me some pointers?

I bought a spare set of these.



You can remove the chrome trim, so I was going to buy some 3M viny stuff and wrap them. Never done it before, but looks like you stick it on and then use a hairdrier to stretch/mould it around? :?

Not sure how they'll turn out, but it's just an idea and hasn't cost me much. Maybe it'll look a bit like these:

If it works I intend to try to wrap the bottom splitter as well to get a theme going. Like this photoshop (but carbon instead of black)

I was thinking of wrapping the internal door handles in 3M Carbon to start with and then the dashboard. It would be great if someone had some pictures of the end results of the 3M carbon material.

I used plain matt black vinyl on my grills, but it works a treat using heat as you say to form.
