Anyone supercharged a Z4///M?

as the car currently stands i currently pay around 900 PA for insurance i think i need to check the latest renewal so dont hold me to that.... i need to check but initially it was around 1350... and at one point i got quite afew No's as i stupidly didnt check out insurance before buying the kit/s

now days it seems much much easier to insure these type of mods as they have become more popular with the ever increasing sports car range.

I really want and or would like to see a z4 with a turbo set up. Has it ever been done anywhere??

quite a few non //M but not many ///Ms due to the ECU not being easy to work with.

I'm really happy with supercharging as the character of the car is completely untouched... requires revs for power, the more you rev the more boost i get, its about as gentle as it can be with the way the boost is built, the top kits really are of an oem standard now days. Very often i lift my bonnet and people ask me what bits aren't stock.

its stupidly fast too... And most of all it feels really special amoungst todays sports vehicles. its been very expensive all round but the BEST car experience I've ever had. Sometimes i do think about selling and starting again, with something new but... i cant.

I am not really that interested in the turbo Ms not having one.
I have seen a fair few 330 530 and the like with turbos i haven't ever seen a z4 with one. There is a nice z3 with the 2.8 running a turbo doing drift taxis at santa pod. But its not a road car as the thing is hanging out where the drives side headlight should be

There is one z4 m54 TT from a russian tuner called totalrace.

But this is more than just a TT setup. although it doesnt look like it (from the looks of the car itself), a lot of hardcore engineering went into this car.
For instance they resleeved the aluminium block with bigger sleeves up to the point that the sleeves form part of the cooling ducts. How often do you see that?

Now that is something!!

Some cracking engineering in that. The intake has been really well designed to give as equal flow as possible to all the intakes too. Lots of inspiration there. That block and sleeving is a very good idea.
