This popped up from nowhere this morning as I started the Yellow Peril for its first proper run in over 5 months..given where we live, its probably an AI thing recognising where I was about to drive through

The roof was down (on the battery) and it followed engine start..engine shut down and restart did not clear it..25 miles of hooning and at next shgut down / restart with roof up no issue... then after that no issue with roof up or down..

Any ideas?

I had that error once but it was because I had disconnected the interior light cluster which includes the SOS button and started the car without it connected, once connected all was fine. In your case since the car hasn't been run for a while could it be something to do with a low battery?

Hi Silverstar..possibly the battery..it certainly was almost flat when I came to start the process of bringing the car back into service..although since then the battery was fully charged and a number of engine idle runs had been done setting up audio systems etc..so I could have expected it when the battery was almost dead but strange after a number of recent starts...just wondered whether dropping the roof without the engine running somehow was enough to take it over the edge.. :tumbleweed:

If you are not getting any messages now then I think it must have something to do with the battery and low charge.
