I almost bought it myself but then bottled it and bought another - This dealer refused to refund my £200 even though it was in the garage being repaired for the whole time it was on hold for me so no one else could have bought it even if I had not put a deposit on it. Good luck to whoever has bought it though.

I thought all deposits were refundable! Not a great dealer if its not :thumbsdown: (Unless the buyer holds the car for days and doesn't turn up to even view it)

I agree with Pvr, no point in having deposits if its refundable lol.

My deposit worked like this - I pay £200 to hold the car for an agreed time, I then view the car within that time frame and if I am not happy with it then my deposit is retuned. Now if I don't turn up to view the car within that time frame (or don't turn up at all) then I lose the deposit.
