Credit where its due to the guy Lee who ive just spent 3 very enjoyable days in Normandy with .
He has his own floorlaying company & i contacted him after i struggled to find anyone who could lay carpets upstairs & a vinyl plank tile downstairs
He's based in Bournemouth but travels all over the south of england so if you are looking for a top quality job doing at reasonable rates he's your man

Yeah it is , no gas in rural France unless tanked so woodburner pretty much the standard , needs flue connection yet which can cost as much as the burner itself

I've just come back from two weeks working in the Loire region at a place called Chaze sur Argos near Angers. Lovely rural location. I can see why you have a retreat out their
