Anyone miss me? I'm back! And I have questions.

Hi guys not been here for years, I was a member of the z4um 13 years ago and was one of the refugees when it disappeared.
Anyway I now have a 2003 2.5 as of Saturday, and I thought I'd come back into the fold and see what's new.

At first glance I can see quite a bit has changed, things like being able to access the roof motor without removing the hood! :D
Can you still get one touch modules and remote modules for the roof?
Did anyone find out if removing the air restrictor from the front grill and fixing a ram make a difference?
Where do you get a sound generator from these days?
Is Dynamatt still the best thing to use to stop tinny sounding doors?
Did all the fake CSL wheels explode after hitting a pothole and end in a fiery death?
Did the turbine wheels actually help to cool the brakes?
Not that it matters to me I've got a manual now but did anyone manage to fit the paddle shift to the wheel for less than £1000?

So many questions!

Lots of us bought Dan's Ram air scoops here:

Great piece of kit, although the jury's still out on whether or not they make any difference in terms of increased performance.

- Gaptech for remote roof, easier to fit than eOpen modules that had to go in the fusebox. Gaptech is all in the centre console so 15 minutes job now.
- I bought the "original" air scoop at full price with the new air filter, it more noise and little better fuel consumption.
- Sound generator from scrap. No idea if dealer still has them, but doubt it
- Yep, dynamatt is still the one
- The "real" CSLs are so common now that it is not worth buying the fakes
