Thanks Nick i don,t think these were ever replicated , but just to ease the OP,s burden of desire (or more likely increase it ) here is a pic of 1 freshly powdercoated 224 , the set of 4 was completed this week & right now is heading south to its new owner :wink:

For me THE best Z wheel & quite possibly my all time favourite BMW wheel ?

If it's the double 5 spoke design you're after take a look at 'Jonny Essex's' wheels. They are similar and very nice. Sorry haven't a clue what make or model they are.

They are more angular on the rim a bit like an E89 wheel (296?)

Haha Thanks again Andy for the great transaction and your helpful advice re bolts, wheel centres, and refurbs in general – had a 18:30 email from the tyre place and they received them and have taken the initiative to fit and balance my new Falkens ready for mounting on Sat morning first thing – can't wait

OP from what I've seen over the years 224's are great value, I bought a set a few years ago that had done less than 1000 miles with brand new Conti's on for £500, a real bargain, I sold the ones I had on for £400, so you may as well go for the real deal
