Anyone in a Black Z recently get rear ended?

A chap on Pistonheads put this up on the dash cam thread and was concerned the driver didn't get his details properly when he the footage offered for evidence.

Just chucking it up here just incase. looks like a right old shunt.

Doesn't look like too much damage, the boot lid pops up when whacked at the back so probably just bumper damage?

Fingers crossed for the guy, a lot of expensive things going on in the boot, plus if the light clusters brackets etc got damaged then the costs could mount up- plus he had the entire roof in the boot - but the damage doesn't look bad from the video. There will certainly be more damage than can be seen though.

I was hit approximately that hard, ok on the front bumper, but it needed a new nose and light plus some filing on the bonnet = almost £5,000
