Anyone here with halogens converted into Xenons?

Previous owner had a conversion fitted and when the bulbs recently required changing I made the mistake of buying a budget pair off eBay. As you guessed, they didn't last long!

Just wondering if anyone has a conversion and if so what brand did you use?
 
Do you mean retroffited a HID kit?

With ebay bulbs you get what you pay for. Just match what you have with a decent make of bulbs. Go for around 5000k
 
I've put a retrofit in mine, it's improved it no end over the standard candles, but I now need to strip and clean the lenses, as they are decidedly "milky" looking and as such, reducing light output.

yeah ive done it, best mod you can do to be honest, just got to keep it in mind when it comes to MOT, if you've got the headlight washers then you should be laughing but be prepared to swap them back out for the halogens come MOT time.
