Anyone help me take off my roof?

No idea about the blues?
Too busy really to help for the next week or so. Jeep event this weekend, Lakes after that, Spain after :) Life can't get much tougher...
 
Had to get my roof motor changed, took it to a guy that used to work for BMW and it took him a few days to do the job, even he said it was a bit of a nightmare, mines a 04 plate you have to try and keep the drainage hole clear so you keep the motor dryish, good luck mate BMW quoted £1500 just to look at what the fault was, got it all sorted for £650.
 
Don't mind looking to try and find out your problem but fixing it If it's the motor then you will have to get it fixed yourself it took me two days to fix mine .
 
Im after a hand doing this also, im based in somerset... will provide cold beer.

as regards to the motor, i would be going for the newer one with the housing as there is no chance im doing it again so gonna seal it completly.

Sure does, 2 jobs ready?? Just needs an experienced person that's done it before... I have had the roof down all day, just put it back up and loads of water/condensation on rear screen.. I think there's loads of water in there!
