Picking up my new z Thursday and first on my list is to louden her up, something I never got round to on my last two z's, didn't know if many people on here had a straight through system similar to this and if they were happy/where they got it done as I want to get the sound just right :)
 
Ah well spotted! Does this or a straight through system mess around with emissions in any way? I know obviously emotions is taken care of by the car but wasn't sure if any other part of the system after that affects the emotions or is everything after that purely to quieten her down?

Yes it makes the car feel happier :rofl:
As long as it's a cat back system it won't affect emissions, if you decat it, it will.
 
The magnaflow muffler replaces the secondary cats, see http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=820243&highlight=angry+cop. If you search for "angry cop" you'll find a number on threads on this mod. Easy mod with a good sound and no one has reported problems with passing smog testing (secondary cats have no sensors). Only possible downside is ground clearance as the muffler sits a little lower.
