Anyone had their arches rolled?

I fancied an upgrade to 19" wheels and had decided on a set of bbs chr's. In the end I couldn't quite justify the price and went for Atomic csl's with a 33 rear offset. And they do look awesome as they have a huge concave.

Long story short I tried them out and they rub slightly, tyre against the arch. Has anyone had their zed's arches rolled? I'd not normally want to risk rolling but it looks like it's going to be the best way of making these wheels rub free.

They look like they protrude about the same as my 107's with 20mm spacers, and I don't get any rubbing?

I get no rubbing on the front now and again on the inner arch liner

I had the same wheels on my coupe, no rubbing and on eibachs too - try some more camber at the rear before rolling your arches? What size tyres are you running?

Might be tyres. I had same alloys on mine with 255s on the back and no rubbing.

Yep - mine was 255 too although the wheels looked like they could take a 265.

I had Z4 pilots wheels (same spec as yours ) on mine lowered to death but a 235/35/19 tyre and no rubbing, but might not be an ideal solution buying new tyres again!

Yep - mine was 255 too although the wheels looked like they could take a 265.

Thanks to everyone who has commented

So I managed to get over to the local body shop today and they have said they don't think I should roll the arches. They have done a z4 before and there is so little to be gained and they had to trim the liner, something I really don't want to do.

I would be spending about £310 on new tyres, even then it's still a bit too much guess work for my liking.

Another option as above is slapping a bit more negative camber on but I've not long had an alignment and am really happy with where I'm at.

Rather than take more chances I'm going to accept that I took a risk that didn't work, buy the same wheels in an et45 rear (they still use same et38 front) and sell on the current wheels as they will be good for someone who isn't lowered.

I can't really afford to change tyres and re align if it doesn't work.

A bit embarrassing - I knew it would be very tight but thought it would pay off. 5hit happens I guess.
