Anyone got a Strut Bar for their e89?

Had a look on ebay and found this Luxon strut bar. Looks good but want some review on the product from 35i owners that may have tried it???

Can't see that design of strut having much effect TBH. Unless a strut brace provides a dead straight load path between the 2 struts, ie material in pure tension or compression, movement of the strut tops will easily bend the steel bar unless it has a large cross section, which this one doesn't. Purely cosmetic if you ask me.

Works great with the KW V3 suspension set up I have fitted.

Thanks for posting that - looks interesting. Different design to the Luxon. Did you feel any difference?

Honestly, no not really, i really think it`s a bit to flimsy to be of any real help. I feel the KW suspension set-up is the real help here.

I'm going to order one of the Luxon bars soon. It's the best bar available for the e89 from my research. Appears to be lots of positive feedback about it. The front of the e89 does feel a little loose and I can hear some creaks as I reverse out of steep driveways coming on now as the car begins to age. Hopefully this tightens it up.
