Anyone got a 2009+ 5 series or want one?

I've been tempted by how these look for ages. Something of a departure from the e89 but the saloon and touring looks great in M sport guise, certainly in white/space grey.

Speaking with the local dealership I can get into a new one for similar payments to my e89 but the kick is that I'd switch from a car thats not long until its paid off, to a 3 year pcp. I'm just not sure the 5 series is special enough, as good as it looks, as I see quite a few around every week. I see only one or two e89s in a month.

Yes drove a 520d yesterday. Of course you can't compare it to the z4 but its quiet, no rattles, comfy and you can still chuck it about a bit. I liked the drive, some nice kit onboard, certainly not as good a feel as the z4 but its a different car and market of course.

Tbh it's just a bit of refinement/comfort and a bit more practicality I'm looking for..

.. Other half says I should just get a top spec gtd golf as it would do the same, lose less money, etc

like the new 5's but personally i would stay well clear of the 4pot diesel in such a big car .
we had a 57 520d sport touring for 5 months & it was tedious, lacklustre & not particularly economical :thumbsdown:
