Anyone gone from a 2.0 to a 3.0?

I've had my 2.0i for a couple of years and most days I wonder whether I should have gone for a 3.0i. In most ways, I love the car, but it's just never felt that powerful. Any views out there from people who have gone from a 2.0i to a 3.0i? I'm particularly keen to know if there is a demonstrable difference in power, either in everyday driving or when opening up, that would make it worth my while to change up. All thoughts welcome!

I went from a 2.2 with 170bhp to a 3.0 si with 265bhp and i never thought the extra .8 of a litre and the extra 95bhp would make such a diiference but is certainly does. A round town you wouldn't notice it much but once you give it the beans then it really kicks in especially with sport button pressed and some of the sound generator foam removed, bring the noise

Thanks for that. Have you tried the regular 3.0i as well as the Si by any chance, as that's what I'd probably be looking at - funds being somewhat limited right now!

I owned both a 3.0i then a 3.0si sport (then another 3.0si sport coupe :D )

The latter is worth the extra. About 30 bhp more and a more responsive drive. Go for the si!
