Anyone fitted a Dice Mediabridge AMBR-1500-BMW

why would it need to be //M specific? the radios, cd changers, bluetooth and MFSW are not unique to //M zeds... :tumbleweed:
 
I've been looking at them recently as I'm p*ssed at the lack of an aux connector. However from what I can see these seem too 'Apple' centric, and I don't need Siri integration and hands free phone this and that. I'm still looking into it but I can't see anything I'd use on this over a retrofit aux connection.
What features are you looking at it for?
 
they work really well with most phones.. i use it with android playing spotify and it controls that perfectly..
 
I have one too. Great as long as you don't want to listen to the in-car radio, that's it's main downfall.
Do love the juxtaposition of radio 4 in an offensively loud M more and more these days :tumbleweed:
Edit: mostly because even with the 10speaker system bass pretty much consists of my exhaust noise these days. Not sure how long I'll keep it, but it's fun all the same.
 
Not gonna lie, I just googled juxtaposition :? I thought it might have been a feature of the Dice... :tumbleweed:

It's a good one! Listening to the archers driving one of these cars is not a bad example of the definition I'd say

I'm keen to get a bluetooth streaming device in ///My car, but unsure of the offerings... will do some research.
 
Hahahaha, thanks for the input gents. Manage to bag myself one from a forum member who has bought one for his z4 but then realised it already had one fitted. My main question which i should have made clear was i requested a quote from some tech guys we use at work for our trackers and other stuff and the guy said the car might need to be reprogrammed by bmw to recognise it otherwise it might not work properly.
I said that's not right cos i'm preety sure members on here have fitted it with no problems. I'm having it fitted some time next week and will keep you guys updated.
