Anyone fancy a free photo shoot ???

Good luck bamberjim  - makes sense with you being on the doorstep. I'm gutted, but it was just too far to travel :(

just waiting to hear back, better get cleaning and polishing the weekend, Hopefully they will be ok with the RS2 wheels as not stock Z4

Cheers Jim

I would of thought about volunteering if it wasn't for my scabby 107's! Too ashamed to be seen out in public with them, never mind being papped!

All being well the slot has gone to bamberjim, should be a great day especially if the weather is good
thanks for the replys and Pm's it's appropriated

Just back from the Photo shoot, started off nice and sunny but it then went pretty cold once we had lost the Sun!

Had a good day and got a lap of the track in a Boxster 3.2S to compare to my Z4.. found the Boxster a bit disapointing to be honest and not a patch on my car.. the Boxster was 5 years older! anyway had to leave my car there for some rolling shots later this afternoon (i needed to be back to pick the kids up)

few shots

Looks like it went well - so you got to drive the boxster? Were the cars test driven against each other - cos I thought it was just a static photo shoot and a spec comparison?

not as such, the reporter had a drive in each car to do a write up but he took me round in the Boxster straight after my test drive.. we both agreed it wasn't a good.. could have been down to tired suspension, but the interior etc was no way as nice as the Zed by a long way.. the Porsche felt very dated, you also sit a lot higher so lose the low down roadster feel. it was like driving a fast golf IMHO

Glad you enjoyed the day
Have to agree the 986 does look really dated these days, especially the interior. I also find them cramped compared to the zed, not that the zed is in any way cavernous!

Hey Jim, glad you had a good day, your car looks great, looks like Ross had an interesting day driving all those machines :driving:

Looking forward to getting the mag and reading up on the day :)
