Anyone been tempted by a second hand M6?

Agree I think running costs can be a little eye watering and you certainly don't want the gearbox going wrong...it still doesn't stop me lusting after them though :D
 
Other than the standard running costs being high, is there anything wrong with them?
Absolute monster of a car for the money.

I believe the engine is pretty solid but you do read quite a lot of gearbox woes and that's fine if its under warranty but wallet ruining if not.
 
Never seriouly considered one.

The MR is more fun, on the kind of road I play on. No motorways in Cornwall. :D

Would be a nice car to tour the continent in, but the roof would need to come off and that makes it a very heavy, slightly wallowy lump and it's just not special enough to put up with the downsides. So not lightly to ever be on my wish list. :)
