Spotted the other day in West London.. Anyone know what it is? I know there's a company phone number on the back but I'm too embarrassed to phone them up just to ask what the car is. (click for larger image)

I don't think it's the Dodge either. I think I found the ones WLH means and it's close but not the same. I thought it might be Russian...

Right as the back window is wrong as are the back doors and fenders. Russian....Maybe...

Well now, navigating one of these babies through West London without denting would be a challenge!

Ok, I know you're all on the edge of your seats over this one so I'll put you all out of your misery... Someone on Pistonheads identified it:

1957 Volvo radio car.

Could be from any of the former Eastern block countries and it was likely still in production until the last few years....

Still not the only military thing in London. This one I snapped in the Summer caused a lot more problems for an old boy who decided to drive the wrong way around an island :driving:

Haha - nice shots! That's Leicester Sq, isn't it? Can't think of a worse place to collide, unless you're an attention w****!

Too bad the Duck tour amphibian bus didn't get totalled - it seems to be all over London, doing 5mph!

Let's just say Oslo is a bit short of landmarks compared to London

I might have spent too much time at Waxy O'Connors though  :drinking: :roundel: :dizzy:

Not sure what model it is - but you'll find the same technology under the hood of the 2009 Ford F-150

I take exception to that one... The technology on my '97 F-150 is great....

175000+ miles on it. Only been to the dealers ONCE since I drove it off the lot in '96 and with it's big V8 engine, it gets 18-20MPG on the highway...
There are a lot of Zeds on the board here that have been to the dealers a LOT more than my F-150......

Yeah I guess that's why they (F-150) have been the number one selling truck in the world for 31 years and counting!! What world do you live in????

Why fix it if it ain't broke? To my knowledge it's one of Fords most profitable models as well :)

Touchy subject - didn't mean to offend anyone. Having said that, I think the key selling point for the F150 is it being a reliable, powerful truck at a reasonable price, not the speed of innovation? :poke:

WLH - looks like you're on the right track. The easiest thing to do might be to shoot the guys at Centrefit an e-mail, although it would take the fun out of it.

Exactly...
Been doing searchs for "command vehicle" which is what I think it is but no exact match... :(

Erm... I actually posted in the middle of the last page that I found out what it was... The guys on Pistonheads called it.

It's a Volvo TP21
