Probably everybody to be honest, well in the UK anyway.

I have been (stuck on the night shift) putting some of the cars on my short list in to the "Autotrader Vehicle Check".
Many of the cars are advertised as being SE's bit it doesn't say so on the vehicke check. Only one came up as an SE.

SE owners..... Does it say SE on your V5?

Will be able to check the options really but it was interesting just how many just say "i"

:scratchhead:

The SE designation wasn't introduced until some point during 2004. There's no difference in spec' beteen i and iSE.

Ben - I think few people, especially dealers, actually know what badge designation to add to adverts and just add i, S or SE

I have the BMW sales brochure from late 2003 and all 3 models 2.2, 2.5 and 3.0 are designated 'SE'. They actually list them in the spec. as 'Z4 3.0i SE' , etc.

Mine is (as far as I believed) is a 3.0SE. As per above that's all that was made, however my V5 shows it as '3.0I Auto'

I'd personally be more interested in age, mileage, spec than the V5 designation

I think you'll find this is down to the way the Autotrader site works when you advertise a car. You have to select the model from a drop-down list...and the list is not exactly comprehensive. When I advertised my Griffith I had to do so with the wrong engine capacity
