Anybody used https://www.discountavdirect.co.uk/ before?

Not used / heard of them before, had a peek just now out of interest, looks like they clear out graded items (returns, repairs etc) so depending on the type of return and the level of markdown it might be cheap, but if it's not 'cheap enough' to offset the fact it's been opened/used (dependent upon grade) you might be better off buying new from somewhere you trust.
 
I didnt go with them in the end. As you say, they sell graded stuff and you can get a bargain but ideally you would need to see the item in question at one of their depots. Was not my cup of tea in the end....
 
There's nothing particularly wrong with graded equipment. Our company take back returns from some of the major retailers. Some of which have 14 day no quibble refund policies. You often find people buying new stuff for big sporting events then returning it no questions asked. This has to go back into the pool some how and the way the retailers do this is by selling it on and recouping as much as they can.

Ok some stuff will be genuinely repaired, but again it is done to OEM standards and is usually warranted.

It done exactly the same when you have a 'new' phone on insurance. They are rarely ever new and just refurbished returns. Its much more cost effective.
