i'll be out there in a couple weeks if nothing comes up to pick up my new z from the LA area.

What a great drive - very jealous. How can you do anything but enjoy that. I did LA to San Fran a few years back. Alas not in a Zed and not up the coast road (but via Palm Springs, grand Canyon, Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite and 17 mile drive). Best holiday ever.......memories.......!
sounds fantastic. the grand canyon would be a great stop on my way back to oklahoma
