Do you drink gin on ice or mix it with tonic?
Just on ice should give you a clean, crisp, herby taste with a bit of a spicy kick afterwards.
If you add a load of tonic, then all bets are off, and it will taste of whatever tonic you pair it with.
I drink new/good gins with just ice, and cheaper/session gin (always a doublet least) with 1/2 a small bottle of Fever Tree Mediterranean tonic for a longer drink.
