Any z4m owners on here that have had a z3m?

Just wondering how they compare really. I'm going to be selling my z4 soon and will be looking for a weekend toy so the z3m on paper looks like a good alternative. I'm guessing it's lighter so even the 320 brake z3m might even be quicker than the z4?

At the moment I'm split between this and a vx220. The vx will be newer and handle better but I think the 6 cylinder noise and big power is what I'll miss most from the z4m.

Any advice welcome.

Great car the vx220 basically an elise s2 in disquise what about an elise s1 you can get some of them cheapish i love them a gocart for the road depends on how much your spending but an s1 with a honda type r engine is mega Dont the z3m's have vanos problems or get one thats been done already

Z3M is more of a classic than a vx I'd say but it's a hard one. You'll prob be after a soft top but a Z3M coupe is a classic.

Coupes are overpriced IMO it would have to be a soft top as its a weekend car. I've had 2 VX220's already and I know they are a hell of a car to live up to and I do really fancy a third but the lure of still having that brilliant engine might sway it. Just interested in a comparison on how they drive really. Max budget would be 10k and it would have to be a minter to warrant that.
