Any way to play music from iPhone?

I have the weird looking fold down middle section which I think is a Bluetooth connector. If I want to include answering calls what would you advise?

Do you have the pairing button in the fold down flap.

If not you are best off looking at a Dension Gateway that offers music and Bluetooth.

The pairing is for bluetooth calls, you won't be able to stream music, for that you will need some additional kit, either an intravee or dension unit, I have a dension gateway which plugs in to the back of the stereo and my iPod sits in the glovebox.

I have experimented with this quite a bit, and I downloaded an application for Android that allowed me to use the Bluetooth connection in the car on my E86 as a speaker.

DON'T, the sound quality is awful.

Instead, I now use one of these:

It simply plugs into the AUX port with a really short lead. You can then just turn it on as you jump into the car, and your phone will pick it up automatically and use it as a speaker. I've combined this with a Qi wireless charging phone cradle and I can now just drop the phone in and go, without having to try to plug wires into the phone every day.

From what I can see, the Nokia device above works with all models of phones, not just Nokia/Windows phone.

P.S WOOT 200 posts.

audiovox\dice mediabridge - usb for iphones, bluetooth music streaming and bluetooth hands free annnnnnnd its hidden under the dash.

But if you want to be able to use the car's screen (if you have Nav) to show the address book from your phone, you need to be paired to the car's bluetooth. As far as I am aware, you can only pair to one bluetooth device at a time, so using a Parrott or one of the other devices mentioned above will not then allow you to use the car's bluetooth.

The other option is to plug the iPhone into the Aux socket (you can get a bottom mounting lead, as an alternative to using the iPhone's headhone socket) whilst pairing it via bluetooth to the car phone.

I have a bluetooth audio adapter thing plugged into the aux in cable. My iphone 5 connects to this and streams music wirelessly. It also connects simultaneously to the to the parrot hand free car kit so when I get a call i just answer as normal.

i have an intravee - thoroughly recommend for iphone/ipod full integration and charging, plus a host of car settings you can change :)
